A classic case of an engine 'hydraulic-ing' and blowing the crankshaft straight out of the bottom. 'Drop' a couple of cylinders, they fill with fuel, fuel doesn't compress, something has to give...

sore subject: my grandfather had them for years (HF, Evo, Evo2, Evo2 dealer edition) and promised me I'd be left the dealer edition.. got snaffled by greedy uncles who offered to sell it to me - couldn't afford it at the time, definitely couldn't afford one now!

I used to have one of those, in that colour "Giallo Ginestra" - I had the reg No "G14ALO", I had it tuned up to 300bhp - great looking car, Italian build quality, indicator stalks like twiglets. I should never have sold it - as usual !Bootsy wrote:
