Can anyone help we work out exactly what this is.
I think the base plate is a 914 shifter and that I think is different to a 901 base plate ?
Is that right ?
I can't remember is the tailshifter or side shifter levers are different?
However my recollection is that the bottom of the 914 shift lever ends in bulb with a hole in it. This one looks like a 901 lever with a ball joint in the end. Is that right ?
Also, what goes into the little hole in the side of the shifter body where the ball of the lever sits. Does there need to be anything in there ? On mine there isn't anything in the hole
