Stupid question, but I have just fitted one of these (the type that you connect to the negative terminal of the battery) and wondered if I need to fit another to the other battery or is one sufficient to break the circuit and stop both batteries draining?

Re: Battery isolator?
The batteries are two 12v batteries in parallel. Isolating the -ve of one will disable One battery. You need to isolate the -ve of both to disable both.
