jetting for weber 40idf

Post by Dean.s »

I have a pair of idf 40's on a 1.7 engine. They are brand new spanish made units with the following jetting
Chokes 28mm,
A.vents 4.5,
Mains 115,
Airs 200,
Em.tubes F11,
Idles 55,
Pumps 50,
N.valves 175.

What would be best sizes for the above.

At present my engine is running lean but it only idles/revs for tests in the garage or to turn the car around in the street.

There's a short article about Weber 40s over on the registry. No sure it help much but Jeffs reading/reference suggestions at the bottom might help.
