The things people find.

Chap knows what its worth but wants offers.

Apparently it has a very extensive history.

He has received 1400 emails in two days.

How many of those 1400 will be realistic offers and how many hoping to rip the seller off

The number of emails must be an exaggeration, surely?

It is a rare car and I'm sure there have been a lot of chancers, but it does seem like a lot of emails.
Long term owner (as far as I'm aware) who has seen the values go up into the stratosphere, so wants to sell.
Good luck to him.

I have to say that having just sold a non Porsche restoration project on eBay, as fast as I was typing replies more questions were coming in. So for something as sought after as a genuine RHD 356 I can believe it!!!
It’s a question of supply versus demand.
It doesn't matter if you speak your mind, because those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter.......!

The seller had owned the car for 10 days when he put it up for sale!
If someone's was trying to buy the car cheap from the long term owner, I am afraid that may have already happened.

I hope that the long term owner got a fair deal.
However, having dealt with car dealers in the past I’ll bet the buyer smooth talked his way to a years wages in one slimey deal....

The seller is a builder not a car dealer!
