Market value for Porsche books

Post by ian cox »

Hi All its been a while
Looking to sell three books and unsure of value. They are all in as new condition.

These are:
1) The original Carrera RS Konradshiem and Gruber book number 279/3000.
2) John Starkey The racing Porcshes R to RSR
3) Paul Frere Porsche racing cars of the 1970's.

I would prefer to sell to a good home on the forum before going any where else.

Kind regards Ian

Hi Ian. Hope you are well. I would be interested in 1) when you work out a price. Re 2) I think it depends on which volume / version it is.

Thanks

I recently purchased a copy of the Paul Frere Racing Cars of 70's book for £10.75 on Amazon - don't think it was a bargain as there was a few more at similar money.

Not sure of values on the others, I paid about £50 for the Starkey book but that was a number of years ago......and obviously you need to find one of the owners of chassis 279!

If the John Starkey book is The Racing Porsches R to RSR and is a Foulis Motoring book published in 1987 by Haynes ISBN number 0-85429-604-2 then it is worth anything from £150 to what ever a buyer will pay

If you search Amazon for the Frere and Starkey books you’ll see various prices depending on quality.
Frere book from 15 quid and Starkey from £66
Cheers
