...but they won't provide as much warmth as a set with the downpipes fully encapsulated, and you'll need an extra long set of fresh air pipes from the fan exit to the exchanger inlet.
(PS Will, stay tuned to your original thread on 'adding heat into a car'. Just spent the last 2 nights in the workshop sorting out mine, took pictures along the way, and am in the process of writing up the process, which you may find helpful!)

Not sure if you are still looking for a set of heat exchangers, but these have just come up for sale over on ESR:

They will fit, are early pre-MFI, and seem a reasonable price. It looks like they will benefit from some minor repair on the outer jacket in some areas, but this looks no worse than the original condition of the set I repaired for the 'putting heat into a car - how-to' thread. With some care, these areas can be stainless steel patch repaired no problem.
