These are the exact same thread (m8 x 1.25) as a normal m8 nut (not fine) except they have a reduced width (12mm) to be used where access is tight such as the following on Classic Porsche
- 356 & 912 - 3rd piece of case, exhaust to head, carb to manifold,etc
911 - carbs to manifold, heat exchangers, etc
