I didn't hear a thing... Fan belt sensor
Whilst replacing a leaky vacuum actuator for the fresh air flap in an attempt to sort the dodgy HVAC on the 993 my eye catcher this little sucker, the fan belt sensor. Judging from the belt and bearing condition you'd think that I'd heard something, nope not a thing... perhaps time to fit that quite original exhaust I bought a while back...

Ironic, isn't it? The widget designed to detect belt failure, can cause premature belt failure...
