I don't know if I will actually make 250hp, but that would be nice. We are still yet to work out exactly what compression we are going to make the pistons, but that is up to what ever we decide works the best. The heads are already twin plugged and I will be using ITB's with some sort of EFI set up yet to be determined, and then a custom cam grind will be designed to match. As for the exhaust, I already have a set of headers on the car running to the standard 2 in 1 out muffler. My plan all along was to cut open the muffler and re design it to a 2 in 2 out and open it up a bit, but I now have some more ideas of other ways I can go about it.murph2309 wrote:Enjoyed that, thanks Jeff. Never tbought that you were going to get that head stud hole fixed. Nice bit bit of work!
What are the plans for the rest of the engine? What's going to get you to the 250 hp? Trick induction and exhaust?
All the best
So there is a bit to do yet, and any hp figures are all complete speculation at this point. My main requirement is to have a reliable fun engine that I can drive every day, so HP can take a back seat, but with all we are doing I think it should be somewhere in the ball park.
