Cylinder reconditioning?
Is there anywhere in the U.K. where you can get barrels reconditioned and replated? Doing an engine tear down on the SC engine. Or are we stuck with buying new?
Cheers

Re: Cylinder reconditioning?
Many thanks, much appreciated.
Pulled barrels today, wear seems minimal, got about 1 thou of ovality, but will take to a machine shop tomorrow for a professional assessment.

I'll second langcourt.
Very efficient and good communication.
They only do Nikcasil, but you I wouldn't suggest
Alusil as they can be tricky to get the piston
rings to bed in.
