Number - 901.301.101.02 approximate age, gear ratios and what car it would have originally been fitted to would be most helpful please.

Hello Bootsy.

I think this isthe casting number....

Gearboxes I have seen have two stamped in numbers on the bottom rib.

The first is the type number..eg 901/06, etc.

The second the serial number eg 709 0001..

We should be able to help with either or both..

902/1 is an early 5-speed fitted to swb 911/912 models.

Do you still want the gear ratios ?
