Folks
Am getting to the stage of fitting the rocker shafts, the manual suggests fitting RSR seals to the shafts. Have just viewed one of Nick Fulljames videos and whilst he mentions them, he doesn't seem to recommend them. Do I return them to standard fitment or is a modification suggested?
Regards
Jimmy

I fitted them during my recent rebuild, it doesn't leak (from there anyway!) but I'm doubtful they do anything.
Fitting them without taking a slice off is next to impossible, so they maybe helping, maybe not!
For the negligible cost I considered them worth a punt.
I seem to remember fetuhoe on here makes some special shafts with O rings that nail any leaks.

Thanks Gary, on the strength of your response, the seals have been ordered via OPC.

I'm not sure I endorsed them that strongly
It didn't leak from the shafts before either.
My reasoning was based on it not doing any harm, as long as you catch the rubber shavings when you try and insert the rocker shafts back into the cam carriers.

Can't remember if I have the seals ... but I do have the turbokraft rocker lockers on mine
