I wish! 2 reasons why we're not going, sadly. We open our garden for the National Garden Scheme in June and Trish always feels the need to keep her green pedal to the metal. And secondly the cost/exchange rate didn't exactly help my argument!left4dead wrote:Hendrik, surely??! Jeremy?
Sad because I know the area and it's beautiful. I spent some weeks there in the 60's tooling around in my mate Jed's GP beach buggy. Even saw Salvador Dali leaving his villa one evening dressed in a white suit, carrying a flower, to be driven off in a rolls by a black chauffeur!
This is the buggy on a dirt coast road near Cadaques. Really.
If you're going you'll have a great time. Safe journey.

Re: 356 International, Roses, España
Sorry, I'm not going either this time.
As I have done 10 or 11 of the big Internationals I have started to pick and choose which ones I go to depending on how I fell about the program and location.
As I have already done 2 Internationals (the last big one in Spain and a PreA one) in the same area and I wasn't overly inspired by the program I decided to give it a miss this year. I'm not going soft though, am off to Switzerland in August and obviously I will be at next years meeting.

Terrific (BIG!) photo, Jeremy, thanks.
Shame neither you or Hendrik are making this one (but I'll be taking the camera so will post some shots on my return).
See you in 2018!
