356 Spring Drive 2017 - Kent/Sussex

This annual event is organised by Richard East , and benefits from his detailed knowledge of his local backwaters . It is held on a weekday when the weekend tourists are not clogging the roads . If you have a 356 and the time available and you can get yourself to where the M25 meets the M26 then it is a must -do ! It helps to bring a navigator to decode the route instruction.

The drive took place Tuesday 25 April , the weather forecast was not good , it was certainly cold early on , but it was dry which counts a lot ! Eleven cars turned up , which is a good number for 356s , and having been on the drive for the previous 2 years I made sure I was in the right part of the country to take part , in dependable 356C .

There were 2 speedsters , first up seemed to have race spec engine ( and driver )

I posted in above thread back on March 9 , with date of drive and suggesting folk PM me for more info , the organiser does not do forums or facebook etc but I can PM you back his email address . I met most of the people by turning up at Fred Hampton's 356 Days ( PCGB but event not restricted to PCGB members).

There is a 356 International event in UK next year , will be in Hertfordshire , early May , will be limited to 120 cars as we don't do big enough hotels in UK
