I have stripped one of my gauges to fix the rust issues. It would be easier to buy new bezels that get these rubbed and sprayed. Does anyone have a source for black bezels and new glass?
I know I stuggled to get bezels and ended up with a set in chrome that were so poor I scrapped them. I think I saw some black ones on ebay (germany) but again dont know if they're original, good bad or indifferent. The inner bezels can be painted eaily, and you might be suprised how well the outers clean up?? Glass can be polished or I'm sure new glass cut to size. FYI I've both restored a set of gauges myself and had a set done by Palo Alto in the US, I did ask them for replacement bezels as they put new ones on the set they did for me but they weren't prepared to sell for what would be obvious reasons. If you do find a source for bezels, chrome or black and if they are any good please let us all know.

Outer bezels on there way from P Alto. Very helpful and good to deal with. I am still going to refurbish my original ones and might well use them and keep the NOS as spares or sell them on. The biggest test will be seeing how well the original one go back on.
