After discussions with the Management & reflecting costs & distance I'm going to have to give this one a miss. :(
I appreciate the Northen Clan's attempts to bribe me but I just can't do it
I insist that ya'll have a great day out & show me the pics. :)

That's a shame Mr Mouse, err no, I mean Martin - it would have been good to see you .

Quite seriously, I thought it was great that you guys made the effort to come so far North during the summer.

Hopefully we'll see you next time - I'll try and have a 'sideways' moment for you :P.

Latest Update on the DDK ELVINGTON TRACKDAY

We are going to limit the event to 15 cars, so those who come along will be able to enjoy as much track time as poss without the worry of other cars around them 8)

IN ADDITION : The organisers have agreed to lay out a 'handling' area where we can learn how our cars react , eg lift off oversteer 8) There should be some tuition available too. IMHO this will be the most important part of the day. Where else can you learn to power-slide your car in safety ? 8)

If you can make it to Elvington, this could be one of the most valuable days you could have ( and the most fun :) )

BTW, price will now be around £130 for the day

not too 'nice' please, decent bar, pokey rooms, safe carpark, warm welcome, nothing to tough to find in Yorkshire from what i've heard. My car has been diagnosed with rusty injectors due to previous owners non-use but all should be splendid in short order. Tim and Jez at Carrera are giving her all the love she hasn't had in the past 3 yrs.

Update on those who have booked onto the trackday :)

James (hot66)
Tim
Ian
Pmjt
Gilbert
Mick Cliff - if we can persuade him ;)
Mike Usiskin

There must be more of you wanting to join us on this trackday? Remember we are having a 'handling'area so you can learn what your car 'might' do if you get it wrong & how handle the car in that situation :)
