I've been messing around with various hydraulic strut combination to match various std and lightweight engine lid and bonnet combinations. I thought others might find this useful, so see below what I've settled on for some of the combinations I have. If you want bespoke hydraulic struts with specific spring loadings to match your application then I'd suggest you contact SGS. Good guys with good service.

Bonnet struts - various original part numbers but one for reference might be 91151133100.
Dimensions - 319mm between centres and 100mm stroke, 2 per bonnet
2x 490N suitable for long nose bonnet with Cibie Pallas lights fitted (If you have 2 pairs of Cibie Pallas then you will need to go heavier then this but you may start to bend your brackets !)
2x 430N std rating for long nose metal bonnet
2x 370N std rating for post '73 impact bumper bonnet
2X 330N suitable for lightweight carbon/fibgrelass long nose bonnet with Cibie Pallas lights fitted
2X 270N suitable for lightweight carbon/fibreglass long nose bonnet
2x 250N suitable for lightweight carbon/fibreglass post '73 impact bumper bonnet.
Engine lid struts - various original part No but one for reference is 91151233102 (or 01 at the end)
Dimensions - 255mm between centres and 86mm stroke, 1 per lid.
1x 600N std heavy duty strut for later whale tail for 964 type powered engine lids
1x 450N std rating for flat metal engine lid
1x 390N suitable for lightweight fibreglass duck tail engine lid (quite a bit of variation in the weight of ducktail lids in my experience so may be able to go lighter or heavier)
1x 360N suitable for lightweight flat engine lid (again could go a bit lighter if you lid is very lightweight)
If you think your 'lightweight' carbon/fibreglass bonnet or engine lid are particularly light or heavy then I'd suggest adding or subtracting 10/20 Newtons from the suggestions above.
Hope you find this useful
Cheers
Andrew
