Engine / Gearbox/ Exhaust
Engine – rebuilt, JE big bore forged pistons & cylinders (86mm) 1725cc, new valve guides, bench flow tested, oil pipes, tinware powder coated, ancillaries zinc plated, – drives great!
Fuel tank cleaned and repainted
PerTronix Electronic Ignitor kit, flame thrower coil
Electric fuel pump fitted (more efficient & reliable but still have original) – starts on the button every time
Carburettors –cleaned and set-up correctly
New gearbox thrust bearing
Stainless Steel heat exchangers
Wiring checked and worn items replaced.
Bursch Street Exhaust (sounds amazing)
Interior (Garry Hall)
Complete interior refurbishment including seats re-built,
Custom made boot carpet
Dash re-trimmed and correct speaker holes punched as per the original spec, new speaker
New headling
New rubber seals all round
New window seals
New engine sound pad on firewall, sound proofing internally
New radio with MP3 from Chrome London
New leather steering wheel
New battery cover, battery strap, silver wipers, full aluminium dash trim set (from Sierra Madre)
Chrome external refurbished by Mellows Eaton (they chrome plated the Olympic torch)
Dials refurbished and calibrated
New front original bonnet badge correct colour from Porsche
Suspension / brakes/ floor
New complete front suspension pan, fuel tank support bracket, towing hook, all suspension items powder coated
4 x sub-frame turrets replaced
Ball joints & bushes replaced
New brake hoses
Refurbished brake callipers,
New Discs and Pads
New Koni Classic shocks all round
Drop links replaced
New bushes all round – poly bushes at the front
New complete floor (Max – Revival Cars)
Paint
Full bare metal respray
New OEM body panels (front wing/ slam panel/ fittings) from Porsche
Minor rust areas found cut out and replaced with new metal sections
