This is my mother in laws car. Owned since new. Father in law passed away in May last year and this is now too big and old for the mother in law to nip around in.
A lovely old thing, built like a tank like all Mercs from this era.
Full service history, mostly main dealer, but the last four or five through independents. Has all books, keys, tools, jack.
Very nice overall condition but not perfect, chips, marks, bit of rust on rear arch (had new front wings). Needs a service I think, MOT'd until the end of the month. No stereo, has a sunroof. Everything works and it drives like it should. i.e. like a softly sprung mattress.
Spend a bit of money on it, steam clean the engine bay and it would be one of the nicest around in a nice colour combo and the fabric interior is far nicer than shiny leather in these...it's not a crappy old eBay special.
Values on these seem all over the place and we do have a dealer specialist lined up to come and see it but thought someone on here may appreciate it and give it a good home.
I can send link to a flickr album for those seriously interested.
£3000 - but am very much open to offers as prices on these are all over the place it seems and we would like an easy hassle free sale with a genuine enthusiast. Car is near St Albans - Jct 9 of the M1 in Hertfordshire.
