Ha, top marks! Yes they are FSH items.
This is where Volker's parts are actually made: Tenten Boats, in Krefeld.

The car is off to the welsh hills on Friday, to go under the surgeon's knife, and the parts vultures have been circling already

A few people have asked about the chrome bumpers, so I took those and the valences off yesterday. Nice to see the car is clean and solid behind them:

Before buying the car in November 2015, I had Mayo Performance in Dallas - one of Texas' longest running early Porsche specialists - carry out a PPI.

When I called and spoke to the owner there once he had the car with him, he told me that he remembered the car from about 15 years before, when it was being restored.
He recounted a tale about the then owner Ricardo having got caught up in some shady business and disappearing without trace to South America.
The (unfinished) restoration then sat at another shop untouched for a few years, gaining notoriety in the Texas Porsche crowd. It was always referred to as "Ricardo's car".

It almost seems a shame to remove the valence from Ricardo's car, when I yesterday found that it has this scrawled on the back of it:

Getting everything boxed up and labelled, ready for the off tomorrow.

Enough parts for a GT conversion? There's still more already in Stephen's van: front and rear bumpers and valences, seats.

I think I'll load the van and do a runner. I'd save a fortune on my build. The coffee better be good.

Wow, that's quite a collection of parts you've amassed there! Must have taken quite a while to pull together not to mention a fair few ££$$. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

It's a great feature isn't it Darren. I use that method almost all the time now unless I'm looking for something really specific or haven't been on the forum for quite a while which is rarely as I'm addicted!
