The COA arrived in the post yesterday.

July 67, sold new in Lubeck Germany as suspected. Hopefully this news will reduce the import duty :)

Not quite, spoke with the agent today, containers unloaded Thursday & Friday then on Monday they plan to open and unpack my 2 cars. I've already completed all the HMRC forms so fingers crossed somewhere towards mid-end next week for collection.
I signed a new rental agreement on a garage 2 down from my 14 today and tonight in torchlight I've fixed the door and cleared out loads of cr*p, dirty webs, ivy plant roots and thousands of spiders
Repair roof, gutter and downpipe on Saturday in daylight and then paintfest by torchlight all next week.

Going garage crazy tonight  Paid the UK shipping agents import duties invoice (which took them a week to type up) today by fast bank transfer, followed up by a phone call saying can I collect tomorrow?

Er.........

"We have to pay HRMC on your behalf with your payment once your clear funds are with us. Er maybe Monday or Tuesday you can collect the cars"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh ....Doh!

Was hoping to be half way through the restoration by then

Hey ho. I'll let you know when they're home. :)

Since picking both cars up on Monday, I've already serviced, fixed and semi restored the 56 T-Bird and got it an MOT (its first ever MOT aged 60 years old, don't have em in the US) waterproofed the 912 garage and worked a 50 hr week at work, had a day off on Wednesday to show 2 lucky DDKr's all things R-R and gave them a tour of my car collection.
Yep I'm slacking, sorry guys.

BTW, the Fuch on the car are 5 1/2 x 14 including a Fuch spare. I'm looking to go back to steelies if anyone wants a swap/deal on them including tyres?
These were fitted 69 onwards on 12's and as a "comfort pack" option on 911E
