static timing with petronix

I am now at the stage where I can fire up the engine again but how do I set up the static timing with a petronix set up? any help advice will be most welcome

I've got the instructions as an email somewhere having just had my 914 changed to the Petronix. I'll dig them out and forward them to you via pm.

never used a pertronix, but isn't it just a trigger, so therefore you can static time it the same as if it has points?

BUT I might be wrong
