It looks like the racing 914's book is now available to buy on eBay but still shows as unavailable until the end of the month on Amazon (where I did my pre-order) boooo.

Yep. It's also 14 quid cheaper on ebay than on Amazon...

Why not do same as me: go cancel your Amazon order, and order thru eBay:

I got it for £43.76 on Ebay last week. Prices all over the place!

Great book, worth the wait.

The author Roy Smith who wrote the book 'Porsche - The Racing 914s' has contact me.

"I need to point out an error in the European chart of the 914 book, the problem which turns out to be both technical and driver error was a technical problem on the formatting.
Compounded by it not being noticed by either my publishers people or me! Driver error.
Right, my publisher has issued an addendum which you can down load; hopefully you will find the drivers now driving the right cars.
Please print it off and add to your book.
Thanks again and my apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind regards
Roy"

Yes. Ordered from Ebay for £43. Received within a couple of days. I think it was from a company called World of Books. I have just had a look again and can't seen any for that price now though...
