Early Seat Belt Anchors

Post by fetuhoe »

Many early bodyshells have seat belt anchors that are either corroded or damaged and would benefit from being replaced.

We have a number of projects that have this problem.

We have reproduced the original anchor with a new part with identical characteristics to the original part.

Theses anchors were used from the '67 Model Year. The very early anchors were pressed from thin steel and had a nasty habit of failing.

We have used a medium carbon steel with similar hardness and hence strength to the original part.

It is tapped 7/16" UNF.

We can supply them as loose parts or TIG welded to a laser cut plate if required.
