Front VIN plate 911 2,2 T coupe my 1970
Hello everybody
Front VIN plate missing on my car, probably for old bad crash, I need to replace it.
What's the correct one for my car, three or four line?
Do you know who can provide me filled with my chassis number? (Rosepassion.com?)
Can anyone of you post a picture of a plate of a 2,2 T coupe my 1970?
Thanks as usual
Max

Hmmmm...
Front VIN plate missing + old bad crash = write off not suitable to be returned to road.
Or maybe stolen.
Why would they bother to put a VIN on a vehicle if you just put another one on to replicate the original?

The aluminium VIN plate is only riveted on and often removed during repaint/repair - presumably the stamped VIN is still there.

Pretty sure Max is referring to the pressed aluminium plate riveted to the front slam panel. Not the VIN stamped into the bulkhead.

Absolutly guys, I mean riveted aluminium plate missing, stamped chassis number on bulkhead and A pillar are still there and I have regular invoice of car bought from a gentleman with all paper of the car.
Thanks for link @ inaglasshouse
Is the three line plate the correct one?

Max, PM or email me and I can provide images of several tags. Provide your VIN and I might get close.
