Just spotted these pics - can you tell me where you got the coool exhaust from? Also:-

1. Is it a lot louder than standard?
2. Any idea if I could get something similar to fit an 87 3.2 carrera? (backdated)

Thanks for your help

Cheers

Have a look at the autofarm website. They offer teh 3 outlet 'race' style exhausts for 911's.

Thanks for this - I don't like the 3 outlet thing though - that's the one KS has on his black baboon. To me it looks like neither one thing nor the other. Just my opinion though.

if you do a search on t'internet you'll see some of the early 911 rally cars with a nice 2 outlet exaust. Also Barry ( on DDK) made his own 2 outlet exhaust system ( although it did look a bit like a beetle one ;) )

 Mind you, even mine ended up as a three outlet, I just concealed the third one by welding it back on at nearly 90d rotation, i.e. so you could barely see it from the back. I even ended up putting some restrictors in the two outlets as well: just too noisy! Looked cool though:

No worries - I've been approached by a guy called crayford on the forum who can sell me a twin outlet sports one for the 3.2 carrera. He says it's a bit louder than standard.

I suppose the noise all depends on what happens inside the box - baffling etc

I'll be driving the car every day so I could see the mulsanne straight soundtrack starting to wear thin after a while. Does anyone know of people running these pipes day to day?

I should be asking Crayford shouldn't I
