Another '64 356 SC dashboard query

OK, following on from the Ashley James post another dashboard query..................

I have got these on either side of my dash:



and



Ashtrays! For a driver and passenger who each want their own. I don't think they are original but they certainly look 'period' and are 'aged / patinated' to match the rest of the car.

I haven't been able to find anything like this from the usual reference sources. Has anyone seen these before, I am wondering?

And I also have this..........



just central on the underside of the dash. Looks like some rheostat type of control to me, but again mystified.

Ideas and further information sought.

Your car is a RHD SC isn't it? If so I remember it from when I worked at Roger Brays, recommissioned it I think!

Yes Graham, that's the one. It did pass through Rogers hands on the way to the previous owner.
