Very frustrating day under the dash of my 85 3.2... Started it up yesterday - then could get the ignition light to go out. Even able to remove key, with engine running.
I've replaced the ignition switch, after drilling out the lock barrel (which works fine). This didn't fix the issue.
So what else might now be faulty? DME? ECU? I'm struggling to work it out. A wire that is suddenly shorting? Any ideas would be most welcome.
Ignition light stays on... How come?

Re: Ignition light stays on... How come?
Update. Lots of pushing and prodding - then just decided to turn/start the engine.
It fired up fine, then allowed me to switch off - normal. Perhaps it reset itself after new switch. Whatever, it's back on the road.
