My 1968 Porsche 912 1 owner from new and very low miles !

Post by Mr912 »

Hi all,

Just thought I would introduce myself and my car it's a 1968 Porsche 912 1 owner from new it was only driven a few thousand miles before being put away by the owner, that was until I got hold of it last week. I just wanted to gather as much info as possible really as the owners family is still trying to digg out his paperwork. Who would have supplied this car new back in 1968? Also is this a rare car ? Im very new to the older Porsche scene so I will be asking many questions once I have time to see what I need to know!

Welcome. Where was the car first sold? If in the UK it would have been supplied by AFN in Isleworth.

Congrats, I'm also a RHD 912 owner, from my own online research I have been able to count 20 cars. So yes a very rare car.

Would love to see pics too.

There was some discussion recently over RHD 912's and how many are left here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=50133&start=0

There is no doubt whatever the correct number is that they are few and far between.

Looking forward to pics.
