Replacement fuel injector lines

I am trying to replace the fuel lines on my 1974 CIS 911 as part of my restoration, as using 40 year old ones doesn't seem the right thing to do.

With regards to the rigid plastic injector lines I am struggling to work out the best value solution.
I am looking for a replacement that is safer than using my old ones, but not necessarily worried about being perfectly period correct.

I believe the original part number is 91111009300 and is the same part used for all six injectors.

Does anyone know if the original parts are still available in the UK and at what price?
I have found some NOS ones but these are 20 years old so not exactly free from deterioration.

Another option would be to source the replacement fuel line at a reasonable price ( I would be happy to refurbish my own set ).

If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

If you're not worried about doing some home-work on sizes, etc, its probably the same as the lines used on similar aged BMW's - for example 3.0 CSI / CSL or M535 which I think uses the same injection system, as well as some similar age Mercedes.

Might be worth double checking prices against each other - I often find parts overlap between BMW and Porsche and the prices can be wildly different! (LSD clutch plates for example are 1/3 the price from Porsche vs BMW)

To reference BMW parts you can check realoem.com which should include some information on diameters, lengths, etc..

Just need to find a source of the correct material.

As for the realoem site as far as I can tell it just gives BMW part numbers for the lines which may or may not be equivalent ( especially the lengths )

What does everyone else do?

ah ok.. for a lot of the "bulk" parts like seals, hoses, bolts, etc they normally list sizes and full info (bolts for example are thread size, pitch, material, type, etc). I guess that's only on the newer cars

I got fuel lines made up at Abbey Hoses in Essex.Not dizzy ones, but they make up anything to pattern whilst you wait.I think, they are part of the pirtek group.Have a look at my build pics.You can see filter to dizzy and return lines on left of engine.They were £30 each, using my old banjos.

I am fairly sure that these plastic lines use a Polyamide material supplied originally by Cohline.

We have used it for MFI Fuel lines and it has a pressure rating of around 42 bar in the size you have outlined.

There is also a 6mm OD line with a 4mm bore rated at 27bar which we keep in stock.

This is the size we have used on the MFI systems for about 9 years.

I deal with Cohline on a regular basis and can buy the tube you need if it helps.

We also stock all of the fittings and swivel nuts needed to make these hoses and have the relevant tools available.

Thanks for the advice and offers. I've now been offered some proper Porsche ones so have gone with that hopefully they will be all OK.
