I recently learned a good friend lost his rally car in Holland. It was one of the ten RHD 1965 cars known to have survived. Bright "Speed Yellow" the parts if offered for sale should be easy to identify.

I have just ordered for my own car a SURE-TRAK MT3 as a requirement for the insurance of my RHD RS with Sport equipment or "Lightweight". It was requested by my insurers so is approved.

It is a self powered battery operated tracking device. No cables. Very discrete that when activated sends out a homing signal over all GPRS networks and in various other formats that a team of trackers react to and personally find your asset and inform the police.

The car is located as per the UK and depending on the value of the asset the insurance company I am informed normally finance an agent to pinpoint the device. It will be tracked anyway to the nearest GPRS tower and that could be within meters of your hidden car. It is especially good for car trailers too.

The clever part is that it is remotely activated and does not "broadcast" constantly to enable its detection.
