][/img]Every component of the car in some way has been rethought and optimised.
This bespoke and finely detailed car is a mix of the very best that the air-cooled 911 ethos has to offer with extraordinary levels of finish, quality, luxury, performance and aesthetics.
Thousands of man hours have been spent developing the car over a three year period, with all body work and modifications by Sportwagen and engine and set-up by Jaz Porsche.
The 88 3.2 Carrera was chosen as an ideal platform to benefit from the evolution of the air-cooled 911 with the added advantage of the G50 gearbox.
The original Motronic 3.2 engine was rebuild and increased to 3.4 litres producing 290 BHP with 340Nm of torque. The combination of performance and weight (estimated at 1,000-1,100kg) produces a thrilling drive with excellent road holding that inspires confidence.
The long hood conversion was crafted using original pre 73 parts, creating a correct pre 73 front, this level of detail extends through to the rest of the build. Hand crafted steel rolled rear arches, modified fuel tank with under bonnet racing style straight filler neck, Plexiglass rear & side windows and Fuchs 9 & 11 x15" wheels (RSR finish) with Michelin TB15 Tyres.
The bespoke lightweight interior is clad in black leather and grey Alcantara. The custom dash is a unique feature, with its solid body coloured panel, leather trimmed upper and lower dash, opened trimmed glovebox,10k tacho, period dials and push button start.
Rear seats have been removed, half roll cage fitted and leather bucket seats with racing harnesses. The roof lining, RS-style doorcards (with hidden speakers) and single sun visor are all trimmed in Alcantara. This is far removed from a stripped out track day car.
As you can see no expensed has been spared developing this unique car and the end result is a truly exhilarating 911.
