Battery Tray needed

Post by ThreeTwo »

Hi. Gunna replace the battery tray etc in my '73 914

Does anyone have a battery tray, battery support and battery clamp that you want to move on?

Being a new boy to this 914 scene I'd appreciate suggestions as to where to get these items...

many thanks
Paul

Also got mine from Restoration Design Europe. They are Dansk items so don't be fussy where you pick them up from. Resto design were a joy to deal with.

morning all

sorry to mini hijack but Ive lost my battery clamp - looked everywhere (well you know as my wife says Ive man looked everywhere) and cant find it.

Angus - do you have the clamps as well? I think the same fitted 924, 944 and 911s.

Ive read that the old clamps dont quite nip new batteries as the battery sizes are getting smaller, is that right? has anyone had to make their own up?

thanks
Andrew
