If cost is no barrier then Michelin XWX, but I use the equally good Verdenstein Sprint Classic which also has a nice classic type thread pattern on my 2.4 S. 185/70/15. They were great on the 2600 kms we drove last year on the Wild Atlantic Way Drive in dry and wet.

Edited to correct a senior moment !!

My first choice would always be Avon CR6ZZ's ...

Vredestein Sprint Classics are excellent and very good value. I love them on my 911E.
The force is strong in this one ......

Hello

I was going to choose Vredestein too but they are only available in H velocity code and not V as required by Porsche but more than that it's written on my car-paper (Italy)...

I think I will buy Pirelli CN36 or P6000...

In the meanwhile seriously tempted by Blockley Tyres from UK...

I have just fitted a set of 185/70 V-rated Blockley tyres and am very impressed so far. Discreet sidewall markings, very period-looking tread pattern.

Oh yes KS, I found Blockley thanks to your pics somewhere... :-P
Great impression from them according to their fast mail answer... Unfortunately change £ vs € and delivery to Italy have bad impact...

Are you satisfied both on dry and wet surfaces?

I've only had chance to 'push them' in the dry so far, and drive a relatively short way in the wet. In the dry they seem very progressive. In the wet, good so far, but not driven them 'in anger' under such conditions yet.
