Best 993 forum?
It's more active than the 964 forumMike wrote:So discounting Rennlist as it's for the yanks, been following the 993 section on 911uk since James posted about it.hot66 wrote:Rennlist or 911uk
God how boring is that, couple of posts a day if your lucky mainly about values, they need some 'mavericks' over there!
Rennlist is best for the technical side of things really and quite a few uk guys on it ( I'm referring to the 964 section)
Ultimately there isn't really anywhere like Ddk for the 964/993 cars

Sounds like the very reason for a 964/933 sub section here on DDK, after all they are klassiker's now, aren't they.......hot66 wrote:Ultimately there isn't really anywhere like Ddk for the 964/993 cars

Re: Best 993 forum?
Good idea.
Can we have a rule that every 993 for sale ad must include the words "last of the air cooled"?
And a sub forum for discussing the values of hard-backed seats?

Read my mind ...... do we have to petition the boss? I wonder if it will attract the riff raff though?Mike wrote:Sounds like the very reason for a 964/933 sub section here on DDK, after all they are klassiker's now, aren't they.......

Best 993 forum?
Let's start a 993 thread and a 964 thread rather than sub forums .... Otherwise next thing you know we'll get those water cooled car owners wanting their own section ( seeing as they outnumber pre 73 cars on Ddk runs anyway
)

Re: Best 993 forum?
I've started two threads for you all
All the 993 owners can compare values, hardback seats and rusty chassis legs and all the 964 owners can discuss driving their cars and modifications

I can't see there being many posts in a 933 section....Mike wrote:So it's ok for a sub section for tractors, but not the 964/933hot66 wrote:Let's start a 993 thread and a 964 thread rather than sub forums ....
