I am considering buying a set of these door cards. Has anyone on here bought some too, and has an opinion ?
Cheers,
Tony

Hi Tony,
I cant comment on the door cards as I haven't purchased any of these.
I would say however that by the time you pay shipping and duty you're in it for about £400.
It would certainly be cheaper to get your originals re-upholstered in the same style, even with new ply or hardboard backings at that price.

Hi Darren, that would have been my ideal scenario, unfortunately the previous owner decided to lighten the doors, and I don't have the original cards, so I am seeking another solution. I have a spare set of doors in my shed, but thought the cards from the USA might be a solution as they look to incorporate the top piece.

Re: 914-6 Door Cards
Tony, the door cards in your link Do Not Allow you to open the doors from the inside.
They will have to be modified to allow opening, otherwise your 914 will fail the MOT.

Its not very clear on the photo, but the blurb says that the kit does include a leather opening strap.
Cheers,
Tony

Re: 914-6 Door Cards
Tony, I think Kev is referring to the interior door handles lock function.
Looking at your photo I've just seen that your inner door frames been cut out where the door card clip, the seals and weather strip goes, the window regulators attach and fixing clips insert.
Your going to need new doors or bespoke cards now
