Finally got my new dash top fitted this weekend. Ordered from 914Rubber last November but due to various quality issues with the first batch only took delivery earlier this month. Worth the wait though.
New dash seems to be made from a rubberised moulding with the original vinyl pattern nicely reproduced. Fit and finish is good, if not perfect - though a major improvement on what I had before. If your dash is in a bad way, I would recommend it over the dash-caps that are available as alternatives.
Just fixed my speedo whilst I was at it though waiting on new vdo glass and bezels arriving from Germany.
