..........which isn't low miles, is significantly non original and has been restored. Weird isn't it.

I suppose the idea is to sit on it till the prices reach that level and suffer looking a bit greedy in the mean time.

To reach first kind of prices the car would surely need to be very original and correct and its some way off that

If someone thinks it is worth it then job done.

All dealers simply put a number on and wait for any classic now I think.

A friend told me yesterday he sold his nice Healey 3000 Mk3 to a dealer for £32 and the next week it was £49K
Sold that week.

Lots of ads in this month's Octane with pages of cars at £225+K.
Editorial comment about a bitza 911 selling at action for " a very reasonable £172K"

If it is expensive then people are assured it must be good.

At CMC yesterday they have the first TR5 made, perfect and not restored, £79K

Hard for normal people to get these types of cars now.

No wonder MGB's are so popular.
