85 litre Plastic Fuel Tank

Post by fetuhoe »

Does anyone have a car with a Plastic 85 litre Fuel Tank?

I would like to know how much further it sticks down below the body then the standard tank.

I have a car with a standard tank so I could tell from a simple measurement rom the bottom of the tank to the support panel.

If anyone can help with this dimension it would be much appreciated.

I have one in the garage. I can measure tomorrow. It does hang a little lower. I have an aluminium tank guard on the RS.

Regards
Mike

Got to it tonight.

Sitting on a flat surface the front lip is approx 9cm above the bottom ribs and the rear approx 25cm both measured in approximately the middle of the tank front and back.

Regards
Mike
