Re: Pitted Chrome Bumpers

Post by Michael Hafen »

Hi,

In the process of taking the car apart. Rear bumper in particular is very pitted in areas. Does anyone know the approximate cost of having the bumper stripped, prepared and re-chromed? Can anyone recommend someone in the West Midlands. I remember I talked to Derby Platters at last years Classic Car show and they wanted around £700, plus Vat to do one bumper.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Michael

I had 2 911 headlamp rims done for £80. That bumper is huge by comparison so several hundred pounds I'm sure.

Have you seen these?

Has anyone bought bumpers from this company? What's the quality and fit like?
