Pair Ridgard RS4 bucket seats ...

Post by Lightweight_911 »

.

Just removed from my '59 Giulietta Sprint.

These are steel-framed but only weigh ~ 3.5kg (8 lbs) each & are a popular choice for Historic rally competitors.

Obviously the colour is not to everyone's taste but they could easily be dyed (for an example of how successful that can be see Sladey's thread in the Restoration section).

Very low miles & virtually as new.

Approx dimensions are:-

Seat height = 25.5 in

Seat height inc headrest = 32 in

Overall width at widest point = 20 in

They have 4 x M8 threaded holes on the underside (into the steel frame - hole centres are :-

13in apart front-to-back & 13.75in apart side-to-side

This model of seat is still available from Ridgard at over £400 ea

£350 pair - collection only - SOLD !!!

I also have these new tilting bases/sliders available separately which could be adapted to suit your application.

They are not Ridgard versions - & don't fit directly - but would provide a ready staring point to facilitate installation.

- the 2nd one just needs assembling (missing a few bolts which I don't seem to have):

£150 pr - only available with the above seats - SOLD !!!

I could be interested in the mountings if they go separately.

The thought did cross my mind! Wouldn't be as good a match though, and I'm liking mine more each time I drive them

Hi Andy

Looking for seats for my PV544 Project, colour is actually perfect. A deal for the seats and runners would be great, can pay PayPal but will need to figure out collection.

Let me know.
