What are they like?
So I'm looking at jumping on the 914 bandwagen, but am just not sure. I always look for light, responsive, chuckable cars (which is at I have my 911 doing). Doesn't have to be fast, nippy is good enough. So I'm wondering if this is what to expect from a 914.
What are your 914s like?

Think big go-kart.
Seriously, they are just like a big go-kart. So so chuckable into corners. You're welcome to come over to mine anytime and have a test drive on these local Welsh roads if you like.

Well i've had both. The 914 is just a little pocket rocket. Your sitting very low so it feels very quick and pointy...as has been said quite kart like. Its makes the 911 feel very grown up and saphisticated.

Re: What are they like?
Yep, as said above.
With even a std 4 they are great fun and very nimble. Anything above 150hp and they will leave almost anything on a twisty road. Over 200hp and they are frankly hilarious, and you have to be a bit careful, because you get round corners quicker than is decent.
I would offer you a ride in mine but I have not finished running in the new 3.0 engine yet, so it is not representative! But the old engine was rude, and went like greased weasel poo!
I would definitely get one if it is on your bucket list, you won't look back!
