Very nice car.

A tip on the spots. If you really want them to be effective they need to be mounted higher up. Down low may look nice but the lower they are the less they light up your way.

I started with mine like this:

but moved them to this position, which has improved the night time visibility in a BIG way.

Also, if you have an LSD do you have a gearbox oil cooler? if not, you'll need one. The LSD will cause the oil to get very hot during competition.

Do you have skid plates, front and rear?

Hi 9treffen,

I am interested in what parking/hand brake you have fitted, and any tech details ?

Thanks,

Tony

Tony

Mine is a hydraulic one like this with a ratchet on so I can use it as a normal parking brake when not in competition mode.

Hi Moggy,

There is already something very similar fitted. It is road legal in the USA, but not over here apparently. The mot man says it will fail unless it has an alternative handbrake system, either cable or 911 ebrake , to back up the hydraulic set up. Sounds like you have a very sympathetic mot centre !

Do modern cars still have cable operated hand brakes?

Your man is correct Tony, you need either a cable or electronic system that is separate from the hydraulic foot brake. that is how modern cars are compliant with a handbrake lever delete.
