New Member, Brit in LA

Post by RoughchildMotorworks »

Hi all,

I've been living in LA for a few years now and have been buying old Porsches since I've been here. Biggest mistake letting that 1965 912 go, but it was the first one and we've all got regrets.

Now i'm sitting on two projects, a 1966 912 and a 1971 911 Targa. Irish Green and Slate Grey respectively.

I'm concentrating on the 911 at the moment, that's just had new paint and will now need putting back together, some assembly required.

My dad is a longtime member, I think SpeedySimon is his handle on here.

I also started riding motorcycles since I've been in LA, a 1975 Honda CB750 cafe racer is the daily.

I look forward to sharing my progress with the cars.

By the way, I am in California with far to much time on my hands and I do find and get offered a lot of project 911/912s, so if you find something online or are looking for something let me know and I'll check it out.

Bobby
