Ditto, looks great - dry weather always a bonus in the Eifel!

Got any more shots of the black car's exhaust system?

I suspect it's going to be something similar to the old GT rally exhausts. More here:

It looks like the real thing to me.

Thanks Louis for sharing, I hope to make it to the OGP in 2016.

Thanks guys

23e Heure: Sorry, no more detailed photos of black cars exhaust.

Eitnurg: Yes, the blue car is a real one. Unfortunately I didn't get to hear it start up but very cool to see it not in a museum!

Kev: I'm very tempted to go again next year. It really is a great event, so much going on! And the weather was great!

Ian: Yes It was, I'm amazed you remembered! A stop off on the way down to Italy. And yes, lots of inspiration for the car which I'm hoping to get started on in the next month.

Cheers

Great stuff and a great event, thanks for posting..I used to go every year when I lived in Germany. I took my 6 on the Nurburgring and spun it like a prat in the wet!

Thanks for posting, must go again!

Louis,

Thanks for the pics. I had thought the 916's eliminated the seam between
the fenders (wings) and the panel where the wipers are situated. Beautiful auto.
Fond of the orange one with the hood Cibies'.
Cheers, Dion

Not sure on that one to be honest. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

And yes, the Orange car was a favourite of mine also.
