White Smoke 356!!?

Hello All,

Just got the engine back together after fitting new piston rings, honing barrels, heads done etc and she runs beautifully but it's pumping out white smoke... I read that whilst running in there'll be a little white smoke but it seems a little too much(it's a smoke machine!!)... does anyone out there think it could be something else?

Just top end rebuild... me!

I was going to suggest taking it back to the builder, at least you won't have far to go It sounds line something wasn't assembled right, maybe the rings are misaligned?

Or a broken ring, easy to do.
