Re: 912 outlaw project
Just had a crazy week, which resulted (yesterday) in having the car delivered back home.
So in preperation for the up coming relocation to the US:
Monday -
Flew to America. Arrived in the morning. Visited the girls new school in the afternoon and signed the enrollment paperwork.
Tuesday -
Looked around 8 houses in the morning, put an offer in on one at lunchtime, offer accepted by dinnertime, new house owner by bedtime.
Wednesday -
Appointment at the bank in morning, Mortgage approval by lunchtime. New family car test drives in the afternoon, sales guy was ex-tour manager / roadie / lighting guy / sound guy for Happy Mondays, Oasis, Stone Roses etc etc ....we chatted for about 3 hours before actually driving a car
Thursday -
Almost met Barrack Obama in the morning, flew back to Germany in the afternoon.
Friday -
Cut the grass in the afternoon. Slept well
Saturday -
Modrod came home
Daniel from Classic Boxers offered to bring the car back himself. He set off early from Dusseldorf and got here around 9:30. Car was unloaded, had abit of a chat and snapped some pictures.
Mrs Jury did some filming, she can't believe it is finished ( cough cough it will never really be finished sweetheart ) and.....how 'Bloody' loud it is !!
VIDEO
https://vimeo.com/127356944
Daniel also brought with him the photo CD. Daniel photographed the car 2 weeks ago near his workshop.....I am biased, but it is one of the coolest photoshoots I have seen, the lighting and location are perfect for the car !! I am sworn to secracy until afew boxes are ticked, but it will be released soon

Off on holiday on Thursday, will see what I can get done regarding TUV and registration before Spa

Way to go Chris, really looking forward to catching up at Spa.
I've no doubt those photos are going to be pretty spectacular!

Re: 912 outlaw project
I saw this detail on a car at Essen and thought it made sense on a car without full carpet in the Luggage area
Cover plate over petrol tank sender plug, quickly made up this afternoon.....

.....Its never really finished

Aren't these factory fitted on early cars Chris? Certainly are on later cars.

51 pages of photoshop.
Everyone knows the car doesn't exist.
Running away to Portland just so no-one can see the truth for real is a tad drastic however.....

Re: 912 outlaw project
Looks good Chris.
Is it advisable to fit one of these if there's no boot carpet?
p.s. Best of luck with new venture.

I don't think that cover over the sender connections was fitted until the SC models
