Marelli points

Post by bluemonk »

Hi,

Where's the best place to buy these in the UK?
And I'm also wondering how the centrifugal advance/retard bit is removed? I've got the rotor arm off but can't see any screws. It's on a 914/6 so access is bit limited!

Thanks,
AL

I never managed to find any in the UK and ending up getting them from Pelican in the US.

I think I have them in stock, will check tomorrow.

Chris

edit: You can fit the points without removing the advance mechanism, it will be easier to turn the engine to Z1 (TDC) on no1 cylinder and then removing the dizzy to replace the points then replace dizzy and set timing.
