Hello all,
Any chance anyone could please explain how to work out and set the deck height on 356 barrels/pistons/heads.
Thanks

Hi this will save me one of those lengthy replies !!!

Its actually pretty easy to do in practice just make sure you fully understand what you are measuring and why, what affects it and what results you have. Also I've never had a problem using multi core solder from a plumbers merchant in 3 mm diameter if you cut your gauge lengths first the flux will wash out under a hot tap but I usually don't worry as it crushes so easily.
